1. Tom Brady
2. Peyton Manning
3. Carson Palmer
4. Hasselbeck
5. Drew Brees
Brady wins the big games and has been Super Bowl MVP twice. Peyton puts up the big numbers but hasnt gone to a Super Bowl yet. Carson Palmer may not be in the top 5 because of his knee, but judging from last season he should be. Hasselbeck was very consistent and didnt make many mistakes and he, with the help of Sean Alexander, took the team to the Super Bowl. And then Drew Brees, he had a great season last year despite the record of the Chargers and he does not make many mistakes. Favre and McNabb are not as good as they used to be. I'd also watch out for Eli Manning. I think dlehktman missed the point of the question also.

1. Tom Brady - Three rings....need not say more
2. Peyton Manning - regular season QB...but I'll take Tom for the playoffs
3. Carson Palmer - He's still new but with that offense, he's going to the top in no time, he just needs to win some super bowls.
4. Tie between Daunte Culpepper and Donovan McNabb - Mobility along with the skills of a top QB, these two should not be overlooked
5. Jake Delhomme - People underrate this guy far too often. His first starting job in the NFL led Carolina to the super bowl in 2003...then back to the NFC Champ game in 2005...barely missing the playoffs in 2004 due to a wide range of team injuries.
I know that's 6...but Jake Delhomme needed to be on there because of how much he's underrated...and it just made sense to put McNabb and Culpepper at the same number because they are very similar QBs.
Some others I considered: Brett Favre (On a down swing, but still has great skills, injuries killed last season), Kurt Warner (Anyone can can have that kind of success on the Arizona Cardinals has got to be pretty good), and Matt Hasselbeck (With a recieving group as mediocre as Seattles, this guy had something special last year, but a little late in his career).
(On the Roethlisburger note and what the one guy said about taking Pitts to the super bowl...he didn't take them there....the fooking defense took them there...Ben just provided the little bit of extra offense they needed to back their run game...kinda like the 1985 Bears...crap offense and excellent defense...thats what Pitts had last year..how they scored so many points....people don't expect defenses to score many points...but look at Chicago vs Carolina last season Divisional game....29-21...people were predicting single digits in some places...that was a suprise.)

1. Tom Brady, he's got three Super Bwl rings to prove to everyone that he's the $hit. He lead the NFL last year with 4000+ passing yards, I think that says enough about him.
2. Peyton Manning, purely the best passer in the league who has an excellent arm and tremendous QB vision.
3. Mike Vick, the guy can run, run, and....run. He needs to shape up his passing but agree with me he is fun to watch and can make d-players and linebackers look like fools.
4. Carson Palmer, only hesiman quaterback from 2000 onward who deserves the credit for his excellent passing ability and skill.
5. Trent Difler, most underrated qb who has the experience but had to play with a sorry team.
6. Suprise! David Carr
look at his NCAA stats and considering he gets a good o-line this year, he will be good.
please do not give 10pts to dlekhtman he copied from another website.

1. Tom Brady. He won 3 rings and most passing yards in 05.
2. Peyton Manning. He threw for 49 TDs in 04.
3. Carson Palmer. Most TDs in 05 (32).
4. Matt Hassleback. Led the 'Hawks to the Big One for the first time in franchise history.
5. Trent Green. This guy is very consistent. At least 3500 yards and a 92 QB rating since 02.
Best in history.
1. John Elway. Marino may have the stats, but Elways got the wins.
2. Dan Marino. Like I said, got the stats. Don't got the wins.
3. Joe Montana. Remember the catch, the drive, the Lombardi Trophy?
