It would have helped alot if you gave us more information about what service and phone you have. Verizon transfers it to your other phone for $10, regardless of type or brand of phone. GSM (cingular, T-mobile) phones might store the information on the phone's SIM card but I am not familiar with it. If this were the case you might be able to just swap SIM cards but I am not sure if these are interchangeable between phones or anything else.

Yes, go to your old phone and go to the phonebook. I think you have to do one at a time, but it's better than entering each number. Now when you are at the numbers. Go to each number and send it to the othe phone.

if you reported it stolen and had it turned off then No, they can't call out on it. All you need to do is go back to your carrier and ask them to switch the new phone to your old number. As long as it is on record in your name you should have no problems. Hope you get things worked out!

Yes, of course, on most large companys, the only catch is that the new phone has to be the same brand as the old one.

yes..it requires a compatible SIM card or some custom software. Take it to a factory store (not a mall kiosk or radio shack) and they can help you.

I know Verizon does it for about 10 bucks. If you have the correct cabling and bit pim you can do it at home on your computer.
