No, not grounded, just delayed while they introduce these new security checks.
And as for the idiot who reckons it's all part of a perverted "big brother" I want to ask : "how would you feel if your loved ones were on a plane that got blown up, eh?" If it came to it & they wanted us all to strip before we got on a flight, I'd do it without complaint if it meant not getting blown up!

I work at an airport and all I can say is... no. The procedures for boarding have changed with the heightened threat level but planes are still in the air.

No, but there are some serious delays. You can not carry on any liquids, with the exception of baby formula. The baby has to be present! No water bottles, lotion, cologne, nothing.

No...just heavy delays due to ungraded security checks. You can no longer carry on ANY liquids (drinks, perfume, shampoo, toothpaste, etc), cell phones and other small electronics.
