I'm mixed on that one. Had long conversation about that once with my girl friend. I was bashing Cher really hard. The next day I found out through I friend of mine ( he's in the military) that she was spending hours in VA hospitals visiting wounded troops. I had to do a 180 on her and still feel the need to say I'm sorry to her should I ever get a chance to met.
My point is sure as long as they can take the heat (ie Dixie Chicks) sure. I have found that those who find the right forum to express their views have less fallout.

If they think it is important, I see nothing wrong with celebrities talking up their political agendas.
I do see a problem with people believing what a celebrity tells them without thinking for themselves. People tend to put celebrities on pedestals, which is quite idiotic. For sports stars, rock stars, and movie stars are talented but all are doing what amounts to simple jobs without any real intellectual requirements.

No. It is unfair. People are ignorant and follow the celebrities agendas just because they are famous.

The best was Sean Penn and the red cup incident from Katrina...
Classic. This guy rents a freakin rowboat and has him (wearing a bulletproof vest) and his publicist and his fauxtographer and nutritionist in the boat with him trying to rescue Katrina victims...hello? in a rowboat? Then they discovered the drain plug was out so he starts bailing the boat...with a red plastic dixie cup.

With their indulgent lifestyles, their suspect morals, and the fact that making a living on your looks means you’re likely neglecting your brains, it all adds up to; no!
Keep your mouths shut you ignorant Hollywood buffoons! I don’t want you having any influence (beyond a vote) on the government that rules over me!

Yes I believe so, if it helps wake the American people into realizing that they are being governed by Nazi Fascists bent on Global domination for oil and profit and The New World Order.

Love is a funny thing, given the oppurtunity anything is possible, although highly unlikely unless you blag your way into some celeb bash, or bump into them down the dole office while signing on.

They do so at their own peril. I have quite a list of people I wouldn't spit on let alone give them money.
