well i had my belly button pierced 2 years ago..but then it closed(my mama didnt know about it)...so then i recently decided to go get it done again....and b4 that i asked my mama if i should go ..and she said no..and i was like right w.e..so like a week ago i got it done again..and now i dunno if i should tell my mama..i think she'll get mad..but when i was younger i got a few piercings on my ears which she told me to wait for untill i was older..but i didnt.. so at first she was mad..but the more i got..i guess she sorta just gave up by the fourth 1.. so now im wondering if i should tell her about my belly button piercing..i mean my aunty knows..and so does my bro..and i dunno if i should tell my ma now..or wait a few months..or maybe even years..or just never tell her :S...

I think you should tell, i mean, if youve gotten it done before i guess you have enough experience to take care of it. Its a good idea to tell your mom just in case you get an infection, so she knows what its all about. Dont get me wrong, you should always have your parent's trust, otherwise they will never take you seriously about anything!!!
Make sure you think this through.

It would be childish to not tell her, but it would also prove you childish if you told her because then she will know you disobeyed just for your own selfish want.
Next time you should listen instead or perhaps speak to her about it and ask why she doesn't like them. If I were you then I would tell her, because although it will prove you to be just a child, it will also show that you know how to handle things when something happens.
IMHO, they look nice but they are a more prone to infection than most other piercings. So do you really want to have rotting flesh hanging of your stomach if it gets infected?

just tell her u did it. just like she got over the other piercings, she'll get over the belly ring. she will also respect u more if u tell her rather then her finding out by mistake. if ur gonna get things done that r supposed to be for adults, act like one and just tell her the truth. you'll thank me later.

You have to tell her!!!! Just be honest and tell her why u like it and why u did it. Be an adult and be honest with your mom b/c she will respect u for it. You will gain her respect and trust also. Good Luck!!!!=)

tell her! u will get no where by lying. i went and got mine done without my mom knowing but eventually i told her and she ended up not being that mad, she got over it!

No, never tell her. What is the point? She might just get mad. She will find out if she sees it herself or someone rats you out and then who cares? It is already done.
