It varies with the snow for the year.

I checked http://mtbachelor.com/ and found they start selling season tickets Sept. 1st, and they offer an e-mail newsletter to tell you of conditions (and would let you know in advance when the season starts). They also have a video showing highlights of this season's events, which would give you a good idea when the season opened this past year. I'm sure you can also either e-mail or call the lodge to find out when the season generally starts.
