I don't see we Americans looking for the rest of the world to feel sorry for us. It seems as if you've decided to just on the same old bandwagon alot of other folks jumped onto 5 years ago when it initially happened, "No the Americans are upset because it finally happened to them". Well actually no we weren't upset, a very large amount of us were royally Pi$$ed about it. I myself was at that time of the opinion to not fight the good fight but fight the fight that ends it all, the no quarter asked or taken eliminate the problem and the future of that problem by ending all that is associated with the people who commited the act opinion. I still believe that there is no negotiation with these "people" if they actually still match the definition of a human being. They certainly fit the label of hippocrite, and coward not following the teachings of their religion as other less fanatical members of their own religion maintain.
Oh and while I'm at it I'm pretty sure America would loose many more friends in the world community if we stopped sending money to all the other countries who stab us in the back while they expect us to send them aid to help them out with their problems. We have enough things that we need to take care of instead of sending money to all the other countries everytime they have a problem.
I'm of the personal opinion that the United States of America has only had a select few friends in the world and I'm pretty sure you are not from one of those countries. More than likely you are from one of those little whiny hangers on "Can we have some money and supplies" contries that the world would be better off without, or you have been so twisted by some perceived idea of the truth that it would be useless to reason with you.
And just so you know just about every freedom fighter that ever fought back the curtain of oppression from an occupying country or empire by todays definition of terrorist was a terrorist.

u . s . a . of us of a has the flexibility to drop many bombs any the position it cares to. The atomic bomb is the finest motel. I do have self conception even with the glaring shown actuality that that if Iran produces an atomic bomb, and makes it available for terrorists to observe the elements as a thanks to blow up a bomb in u . s . a . of us of a, Iran could be no longer more effective. If I actually were sitting in th presidents chair and the above may happen, right now ( now no longer months later ) each city in that u . s . a . of us of a may be poisoned rubble. One bomb on us, 100 on them.

Thirdly - Stop the hate!!Terrorists live everywhere in case anyone hasn't yet noticed that. By the way, I feel sorry for YOU! (because you seem to have a lot of hate in your heart which will only consume you). I'm fine over here. Have a great day!

What nonesense! The U.S., and in fact most of the civilized community of the world, condemned every and each IRA attack.

Any terrorism is unacceptable. Putting innoncent civilians at risk, without any warning, in a deliberate attempt to attack people in their daily life in order to demoralize and inject fear into society is terrorism, and must be eliminated.

It's time for Muslims to take accountability for their religion and culture. Stop spinning, and address the fact that the Muslim culture is one of the most oppressive and violent cultures, against its own people, and certainly against other cultures. The good Muslim have to condemn terrorism that is generated within its community, and help hunt down those terrorists.

For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?

It would be to the benefit of the World to rid of Hezbollah, Hamas, the Syrian and Iranian regime. It must be done to finally have a chance for peace in the region.

IRA were no threat to the USA. Most Americans, including myself, were on their side. The English should have left Ireland decades ago. The reason there are so many Irish in the US is because of the genocide England imposed.

I didn't agree with Americans aiding the IRA! It should have been against the law, and it should have been enforced.

People tend to forget how much terrorism others have endured, including people living in Northern Ireland!

You need to brush up on your history...

Who saved England during World War II? America! Why does the world expect us Americans to solve ALL the world's problems? And, when we do get involved, people complain that we are trying to run the world!
