Why do oriental people in general look shorter than white or black people even if they have the same height?

I saw a lot of Filipinos, Chinese, or other asian women who are 5'4" tall, but they look like shorter than white or black ppl who are also 5'4" tall.

Asian (please don't use the term "oriental") people tend to have more compact, petite figures which gives the illusion of a short stature.
