Absolutely. Having a shower is best around the 7th month of pregnancy. Usually most people have one, when they know what gender they're expecting.
If she offered, and you're still in touch with her often, then I would ask her. Maybe she's throwing a suprise party - but in this day and age, not many people do that anymore. Too many people have busy lives!!

I know exactly how you feel. My friend had told me the same thing with my last baby, and she never came around to doing it. I had complained about it to another friend, then she surprised me with a shower. But it sucked because I really thought I wasn't going to have one. I say you just throw it at her casually. Tell her in plain conversation "So when's the shower?". This way she doesn't feel like you're pushing her. If she sound sketchy, then let it go, and assume you're not having one from her. If worse comes to worse, talk to your significant other. There's nothing wrong with him throwing you one. Good Luck!

How far along are you? If you are 7 months or more, I would definitely ask her. You need to have your stuff well before the baby gets here. It's not rude, she's the one who offered in the first place. If she says no, then let it go. Someone will throw it for you, maybe a family member.

I would ask her, especially if it's getting close to your due date. You would want to provide her addresses to your guests, and at least give them a month in advance to know of your event. If you feel uncomfortable asking her, then maybe you can have a mutual friend or family member speak to her about it. I know this is a special time for you, and it is tradition for others to "give" a shower. So, dont feel bad if you have to ask. Congrads!

Definitly, that is the same thing my two sisters told me and when the time came I told them that I was going to go to the store and make out my baby registry list!!! They took the hint and I had a baby shower.

Absolutely. Ask her if her offer is still open, and if so, you'd like to take her up on it. I think it is great!

Ask her in a suttle way. "Didn't you want to plan my shower with me...or did you already have something planned?"
