Well for starters your skin will heal and the hole will close. You have to be careful because you don't want to risk infection or scarring. You can get these horrible things called keyloids if you're not careful. Then you'll have huge knots on the backs of your ear lobes that have to be surgically removed.

The hole in your ear will begin to close rapidly...I've done it before I got it pierced and changed my mind later so I took it out and the whole just closes within a couple of days.
Don't worry just make sure you keep it clean until it heals and closes back.

The hole could possibly grow back up. Get needle and thread, run needle and thread through the hole, cut the needle loose from the thread. Take the thread and tie a small knot. You can turn the thread, which will keep the hole from growing back up. Not very stylish, but will save you from the hole growing up.

The skin will close up and heal, but you might end up with a very small bump (scar tissue).

You might irritate your ears and cause irritation. The hole may also close.
