It's evil to try to cage and take care of a butterfly. They are supposed to be able to roam free, not be locked in some bubble.
Shame on you. Let the damn butterfly go. He's got things to do.

yea i only kno a little about this stuff is bc i did this as a class project and like so : feed them fruit like, ooh! peaches are good, they really like peaches. and when they are in a cucone do not touch them or move them at all. when the cucones fall and the butterflies are in there, they die!!

Butterfly's are wild animals (insects, whatever) & there is no way for us to take care of them. They have to be left wild.

You can only keep them in captivity for two weeks or their wings weaken. You can feed them a sugar solution in a cotton ball. Mix 1teaspoon sugar with 3 tablespoons of water.
