No, infections will not affect a pregnancy test result. As far as a UTI or Kidney infection, neither have ever stopped my period. This is something you should see a doctor about, though.

No, a UTI or kidney infection will not affect pregnancy test results. The only thing that a preg. test relies on is the presence or absence of the pregnancy hormone.

i'm assuming you're late? How late are you? Have you changed anything in your diet or physical activity...even moved in with a bunch of other girls? Weird things can happen. Infections could mess up results if they change your hormone levels...or if you're taking an antibiotic or something. I don't know for sure...you should probably consult a dr.

these infections DO NOT affect the outcome of a pregnancy test, and generally wouldn't make your period late, you need to contact a doctor if you think you are pregnant and make sure you are on a safe antibiotic for your infection.

Probably not. If you took a pregnancy test, and it was positive, and you are sexually active, and you've missed your period.... well then chances are you are pregnant. Breast tenderness, fatigue, nausea are also good indicators. Go see a public health nurse, who will check for other infections as well, but will also give you a clean pregnancy test and can help you make decisions.....

No I think you need a pregnancy test in about 4 more days because there is no other reason why you wouldn't get your period.
