how do i adjust the carb. on my craftsman chainsaw?

there is 2 screws marked H and L.adjust the L screw for idle and the H for best power.Altitude effects any 2 stroke a lot so you might have to re-adjust for higher altitudes.

there is a little screw with a spring on the side of the carb. turn it all the way in then back it off 1 1/2 to 2 turns and it should be good

first you need a manual to tell you the air/fuel mix ratio,,,then you will also have the schematic to tell you where the mixture screw is on the carb,,,,turn it in to lean it out,,,,and turn the screw out to rich the mixture.
