I've seen them at babies r us before.
However, I have to echo what one other answerer already said. They should be outlawed. If you must buy one then buy one that's too big to fit through any doorways in your house. Lots of head injuries are related to walkers.

I dont know if you are going to be able to find one for under $30. Most walkers range from at least $35 to $100 and up. You should check Toys R Us or Babies R Us. They have a good selection. Go to the actual store. Dont just look online. Sometimes they might be having a sale at the store you dont know about by just looking online. If you want one cheap and dont mind it used, then check ebay or craigslist or a local garage sale.

Oh- everyone is so paranoid- both my kids used walkers and they're fine. My son used it for months and walked on his first birthday, and my daughter still uses it occasionally and is 10 months old. She prefers to hold on to the furniture now though, or crawl up the stairs all day. Anyway- they are both perfectly fine. I think my mom ordered the one I have off the walmart website, or you could try ebay. There isn't much of a selection for that item because of all the paranoid people out there- you may just have to settle for one that you don't like as much. Sorry!

Umm no Most of them are gonna be over $30 the one that I have I got it at wal-mart and I think it was like 45 - 60 I cant really remember have you tried yard sales or something like that You would be surprised how clean and new looking they can be. I know my lil boy used his about 10 times max. So you might want to go to Flea markets or yard sales and look for one. Good luck!!!

I got my daughter's walker at a consignment sale. I love consignment sales. The whole issue with walers delaying walkig is a load of bull...yes they need tummy time...however my daughter had issues about being on her tummy...she started crawling at 7 months...this was after we atarted using a waker...she wanted to be up where she could see everyone. She rarely uses it now...She just plays in it never really walked in it. Needless to say she is 9 months and is walking. I see no reason to say it has hindered her walking. My advice is to get a walker you are comfortable with...the one I have has like a piano, drums, and a rattle on it and the top flips to the sides to uncover the trays. She loves it.

i found a great one at a garage sale, it was like new. but then my daughter didnt really use it. Did you know that the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends NOT using walkers? they actually delay the time in which children learn to walk because they see how easy it is in a walker and dont want to put the effort in walking. but there are these things that babies push around that serve as walkers, my daughter loves hers. you can get them at wal mart for pretty cheap

I have a baby walker.. its the John Lennon Carters line.
It was a gift from a baby shower. I was thinking of selling it on eBay. So you might want to check there.

I was told not to buy baby walkers because they make the baby walk too soon so they can get bowed legs. Plus you have to worry about stairs.

You ARE going to have trouble finding one. They have been shown to be dangerous and really unnecessary. Babies need to have "floor time" play, so they can learn to crawl, which IS good for their development. Babies need more interactive supervision than sticking them in some kind of device that retricts their movement.
