The Honda dealership will probably be the most, and you should use this price as a reference. Any other shop should be less as a rule of thumb, so if it's not a Honda dealership and it's more, it's way too much (the dealership is too much IMHO).

It pays to shop around if your car is out of warranty. Make sure the shop is ASE Certified, and preferably specializing in either Honda cars and/or transmissions.

they will pay about 130 .00 for a new clutch the rest is labor it only takes about 2 hours to change out a clutch in your car so you make the choice but for that job any garage is going to charge that kind of money hope this helps

Way too much. On the other hand, it is probably due to labor charges. The clutch itself cannot be that expensive. But with front wheel drive vehicles, a lot of things must be done to access the clutch and replace it.

Sounds like too much for this, first ask if the shop is going to use orginal honda parts since they cost more. I would call the honda dealer and ask about the price of the parts and then I would add another $300 for labor.

now, does that $700 include installing the clutch? If so, then that's about right- a little on the high side, but normal.

the clutch itself is about $100 so you are looking at $600 labor charge in my shop i put them in for $400-$450 so yes i think it is way to much find another garage and check their price

If you don't have $700, it's too much.

Still, shop around. You're likely in the $500-$750 range for that car.
