I get really annoyed with the little b****rds, and like you, usually fail to catch them. However, on the rare occasion that I manage to splat one against the wall leaving a great streak of blood, I feel really satisfied, as if I've accomplished the impossible.

Yes,those mosquitos know what they are doing.When i went camping and in the early morning,they like to buzz at my ears,i go to swat them, and there gone.But as soon as i am back asleep, there it is again.Sneaky little critters.

The worst part is it vanishes and reappears on the back of your neck where it bites you. Then you get malaria or West Nile and get very sick. Stupid bugs!

the buzzing you hear is their wings when flying but if you swat at it it will go hide. Mozzies don't like strong draughts
