k so menelaos thinks it as a sign that Odysseus will return in anger.. does the book say how Helen feels about it... ?? what does she say bout it then??

yeah, actually, it does say how she feels about it... Hold on a sec, let me look it up, lol. Yeah... Basically it says that Helena thinks it's a good omen, because it means that Odysseus will return and have revenge on the suitors who are destroying his home.
Are you in 9th grade? because im going into 9th and I have to read the book over the summer.

You have to read 13 and 14 very carefully. Critics differ on this subject. When you read, remember that Helen is the goddess of wisdom and also the goddess of wisdom in war.

You must interpret for yourself, but I think a close reading of 13 will help.
