6 weeks is the time they give you to make sure the hole heals open. You risk it closing up and healing over if you take the earring out and leave it out.
The world won't stop if you take it out for a short time, then put it back in, but there really isn't any reason to take them out. If they are hurting you, clean them. The stuff they give you not only cleans, but helps to heal faster, and mildly numbs the ear.

The hole could close up, and you would have to get it removed. But if you are just changing the stud for another stud, in that short amount of time, noting will happen. Just make sure the new stud is for sensitive ears, and that you clean it very well before you put them in.

either it closes up or get infected....and if you did take the stud out then put it back in if you still want the piercing and when you do make sure the stud is clean use alcohol and disinfect your stud then put it in your hole and just to be safe do the same to your piercing

The hole will close up or heal incorrectly. If you want to get it pierced again it will be a little painful because of scar tissue. You may also get an infection.

Like it has been said it will close up.....But you can take the one out and put another stud in.....and rember to always use the cleaning solution and rotate it...so it can heal with a clean hole!

It depends on where it is. If you have your cartilidge pierced then it'll either close-up or get infected. if you have just the lobe pierced it will most likely just close-up. If you have than little piece of something sticking out of your ear pierced that will probably do the same as the cartilidge.

It will become sore , won't heal correctly , and may close up and leave a scar. If you take it out don't exspect to get it back in so easily.
