Well, i mean between an anaconda and a king combra, who would win? The combra has the venom, but the anaconda has extreme strength (90 lbs per sq inch) and remarkable stealth.

It all depends, venom potency is determined based on the weight of the victim, you'd have to find out the potency of the cobra's venom, the yield in an average bite, and then calculate how many bites it would take to kill the anaconda. (I did that once with a mild to moderately venomous snake against a very large constrictor, and it took like, 27.3 bites)... My guess is it might take a long time for the venom to take effect, and I couldn't even guess what the damage would be... Also, I doubt an anaconda would constrict something as skinny as a king cobra... But I'll bet on the anaconda, because they can side swipe with their teeth and could probably gut a cobra if they tried. I can't really give a very educated guess because the entire scenario is pretty absurd... Different continents, habitats, and I can't think of a good reason why they would fight even if they did meet.

(Lol, and I really hope NOBODY takes anything seriously that they have seen from the anaconda movies... so much misinformation and bad publicity!!)

First of all it would be impossible for a king cobra to encounter an anaconda since they both live in two different continents. King cobra lives in Southeast Asia and the anaconda in South America. If there in captivity, it depends. First of all let's look at the status. King cobra is the longest venomous snake and it can reach length of up to 18ft, though 13-15ft is the norm and it is a snake eater and they do eat pythons of smaller size. And the anaconda is the world's largest and heaviest snake. It can grow over 20ft and adults can weigh in over 300-400lbs. Now the anaconda can squeeze the life out of a king cobra, assuming that the king cobra can't get a good bite, because if it does it would be the end of the anaconda as well, since king cobra injects large amounts of venom. But if the snakes are the same length, it could either way, or they could both end up dead.

Well in this case, the cobra, it all has to do with co-evolution and adaptation. In a natural setting these two snakes would never run into each other, so there has never been any co-existance between them, this would definatly flip things in the cobra's favor, because the Anaconda has not built up immunity to the venom.
If you look at lets say a rattle snake and a kingsnake from North America, it is a completely different story. The kingsnake hunts and eats other snakes, many of them being venomous, so through evolution has developed a tolerance to the effects of the venom.......hence the constrictor wins in this case.

The cobra would bite the Anaconda immediatly, and would definatly do much more damage, if however the anaconda did survive the bite, then it could potentially kill the cobra, but most likely the cobra wins.....

There is my evolutionary theory for this one, it makes perfect sense.......I hope this answers your question!

I have nothing to back this up, but if the cobra bites the anachonda will not be able to squeeze it to death fast enough before the poison really gets to it.

Another thing to consider is that snakes can strech and squeeze through different size holes, therefore the Cobra still may have a chance to escape the hold.

The cobra. It would bite the anaconda and the poison would probably mess up it's muscles.
