Runescape and awesome game whould not be used in the same sentence...ever. It sucks. Stupid little POS.

It's dumb because it's just click click click click click click with little reward. Don't get me wrong, lots of click click click games are good (Diablo II anyone?) but Runescape just sucks. The game play is slow. You move really slow, there's no real reward in playing where as in DII you get unique drops, set drops, runes and such. The graphics also blow. Don't gimme "but itsa free game" crap. That is no excuse. Lots of free games have better gameplay and graphics than Runescape.

I hate this "game"'s guts because it sucks sooo much yet sooooo many people play it and are obssessed about it.

If you think it's addicting, you should definitely throw your computer out...RIGHT NOW. I'll show you what addicting is. Play World of Warcraft's 10 day trial.

People play Runescape because they are either bored and want to spend some free time or because they like adventure games. Or that you can chat with like unlimited freinds while you play. Runescape is a great game because you can do over 50 different things and even 500 different things if you are a member! It's fun cause you can make a lot of accounts and make like pures. You can also attack other people if you are in the wilderness and get their armour weapons and coins. I only hate the game for many reasons: It's a waste of time, it ruins your life, you get dumber(not always cause you also learn), and you get addicted to it and play during school.

The reason why people play it is because it is free. in reality is truly a horrible game. There are just many kids out there who don't have a means to buy video games when they want. So in turn they turn toward what is free and glorify it. Sorry but compared to REAL games runescape is a piece of crap.

I've not played it, but I've watched my nephew play. He seems to enjoy it, but from what I've seen him do, I don't get the point of it and it seems ridiculously boring.

no its dumb because its not real...all you do is click click click...boring
