I was just reflecting and reminiscing about Duncan McCloud.
Wondering what it would be like to be stuck in one persona and living through history like he did.

Yes I already know who i would be, but not what you would might think.

okay okay,... I would want to be an ordinary 10 or 11 year old youth, a boy. because then I could easily get fostered in a home for a home, and spend my days learning all the cool things I can in the library and be an honery task master (give teachers the tough questions - hey they don't know who I am, to them I'm just another little kid).

There is so much to do and so much potential to explore and have fun, to just be a kid. That its ironic that kids yearn to grow up, while there are lots of grown ups who yearn to go back and just be a kid again.

Besides, now that I know what I know, it would be a blast to just live. The possibilities are virtually endless.

slartibartfast,... I take it you don't worry about termites, wetrot, mildew, and wood worms?

Over weight people sitting in you & breaking wind?

-- you know I used to be very chubby myself. And I still like to fart in public.

Although it may sound kind of corny, I would like to be Usagi Tsukino (ie Sailor Moon). Although she is immortal, she has a purpose through all her lifetimes. Most immortals get bored after a while, but Serena always has her friends and duty. From now until eternity.

I told you it was corny.

Being immortal doesn't always mean being completely healthy.
Duncan McCloud encountered a lot of fellow immortals who were evil and completely wicked to the core of their beings. The evil that they created wrecked carnage for millenia. If I COULD be immortal, I'd be a bio-chemist and find the answer to some of the diseases that plague us humans. To help to alleviate some of the suffering would be a great legacy.

I think I might want to an elf, from Tolkien. I could live in Middle Earth, and when my time came, I'd build a ship and sail away.

Alternatly, an elf from Azeroth. When I got tired, I could go into the Emerald Dream.

hm, to have an immortal body?..i dont know, i think i would get so sad and lonely. I would probably roam the earth, looking for truth and knowledge, and trying to forget the hurt of losing all those close to me. I dont know if there is a girl character out there that is like that, but that would be my persona.

It's not so much a case of who I could be - it's a case of who I am - for I am indeed immortal!

Yep!
I am immortal.

For thousands of years people have wished that they could be immortal. Millions have sought the fountain of youth.
I know the secret.

I really do know the secret.
And what's more - I will share it with you.
Only you, and nobody else but you.

The secret to my immortality is . . . . . .

Da DaaaaaaaaaaaH

I am a chair!
A big oak chair

and I am immortal
unless that bloody kid with the matches comes near me . . . . .
