Male rabbits produce a lot of testosterone, which is very bad for their heart. It is good for wild rabbits, but they don't usually live that long. If you want your rabbit to live to be more than 4 get him fixed. He will probably be happier, less aggressive and live longer for it. There is no law that says you have to fix your animal but you should make the best decision for you and your rabbit.

You don't have to get your bunny neutered. But I strongly recommend it. Before our bunny was neutered, he was very guarded and not very affectionate. He also started "spraying" or marking his territory. It ain't pretty to clean up. After we had him neutered he became such a suck. He loves being petted and craves attention. He also gained a little weight, and he's alot more like a cat, he lays around all day. But I think the end result is that he is much happier than before. You should perhaps keep an eye on your bunny and see how he is growing. You can have him neutered at any time. If he seems fine for now, then leave it be. If you start to notice that he is spraying or being aggressive, maybe you should check into it. I heart bunnies!

If you don't have the bunny neutered even though he has no other bunnies in his life he will have the testosterone in his system and might become more aggressive with you and change his general behavior.
Bunnies are touchy to anesthetize so look for a vet with experience in doing the bunnies. Neutering is a very simple operation as they don't have to go into the abdominal cavity to do it. So recovery time is minimal.

I have a dwarf rabbit male and he was not neutered because is lives alone with us. There are no other rabbits. He has never "flicked pee" and he is 8 years old! He has outlived his lifespan. He is aggressive but I believe that is because we bought him from a pet store where 1. he was just born (way too young to be sold) and 2. was in a crate with just his mom and brother (no socialization with other rabbits or people touching him). Neutering seemed like a big waste of money.

Neutering would prevent some of the more aggressive behaviours like spraying and may prevent some testosterone triggered cancers.
I say it's a good practice to neuter bunnies.
And it's no question that you should spay a female as it eliminates the risk of ovarian cancer, but only if the whole uterus is removed.

If he will not have any contact with a female bunny, then you don't have to get him neutered. However, neutering will resolve some aggression issues that your rabbit may have so I still recommend it.

It's always a good idea to get him neutered. If you don't you'll have all sorts of problems with him when he reaches sexual maturity. He'll be more aggressive, and he'll try to mark his territory. Neutered bunnies tend to be healthier, happier, and live longer.

No, unless you have females that are un-neutered around. It is mostly a big deal for the females to be fixed because they have very high risks of Ovarian Cancer.
