I personally think that Maurice Clarett is lucky. He's lucky that the cops caught him before he went on a shooting spree. Just imagine, instead of hearing "Maurice Clarett is once again arrested.", you turn on the TV one day and hear "Maurice Clarett went on a shooting spree and 9 killed, 5 in critical condition" at some place. I really praise the Ohio cops. That man needs some serious help. What are your thoughts?

I've heard two theories.
He was going to kill/intimidate the witness in his robbery case, or
He was trying to protect himself from some people he owed money to, hence the bulletproof vest.
Either way, he won't be getting out of jail anytime soon. He is going to be there for a few years.

I agree. The guy is a worthless moron and is an insult to our society. My only question is why the hell is this in the papers and on the news. He's no longer a player. He's just some has been that couldn't hack it even behind a great Broncos o-line where any one with legs could run for 1000 yrds. I don't want to see anything on ESPN about this guy again.

I've thought he was a waste of a person ever since he challenged the NFL's draft rules. Just another case of someone having all the oppurtunities in the world ahead of them, and throwing it all away. It's sad, but I don't feel one bit sorry for him.

I wish that he would heal somehow. He's making people not like football players in general. It just ttakes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. One negative destroys a BUNCH of positives.

I agree, he needs help. As an Ohioan and a Buckeyes fan, I find this very upsetting. I hope he realizes he has problems and seeks the help he needs!

i live in ohio, columbus actually, and i wish i could of seen it. i think maurice is an idiot, and what the hell does someone need 4 guns in the ******* car! i think he is lucky that is *** hasn't benn killed yet!
