I've been given a nokia 6230 orange phone but it needs unlocking. I don't want to pay money to do so as i have vodafone sim and i'm not sure whether it'll work in it.

If you go to one of those blokes at your local market , they'll unlock it for between 15-30 quid. Your sim card will work once the phone is unlocked.

The cheapest way to do it is to visit eBay and there are people that will send you the unlocking code for a really small fee.

Most of the time the code is the last four digits of your phone number until you change it. So you should try that.

Press the menu button then press star that's how I unlock mine

dodgey shops will do it, or ask on ur local market at a phone stand. normally cost around 30 quid
