Time is a cruel dimension. It takes away our past and lives only shadow in memory, pictures and notes. It hides future from us, showing branches of posibilities. Ainstain shows the dependence of time speed on a way You feel. I want to say that for You time depends on Your heart counting. You measure Your existence and influence its time by your choice in cruel limitetad power. My little advice. Dont waste Your time.

'Speed of time' is misleading. What NASA tried to verify was Einstein's theory of relativity that the faster you traveled, the slower time would pass for you compared to someone watching you (search on the Internet for the 'twins paradox'). I believe the test you are talking about was where the shuttle took up one atomic clock and after its flight around the earth, compared it to a similar clock that stayed on earth. Basically, if both clocks started off at the same time, the one that came back to earth was reading 'slightly' less than the one that stayed on earth during the flight.

You'll need to do some studying on relativity if you are interested in understanding this more, it's not a simple 'the speed of time is xxx'. The ratio of changes in time between 2 observers depends on how fast you are traveling compared to the speed of light. As the shuttle travels a tiny fraction of the speed of light, the changes in time are also very small. That's why they needed to use atomic clocks which are sufficiently accurate.

E=MCsquared

Time is relative to the observer. Time feels to move more quickly when you have adrenaline running (have a car accident, you will understand), and when you are bored, a minute seems like eternity.

Energy is equal to the Mass of an object times the speed of light squared. The speed of light times the speed of light is an acceleration. So a mass accelerated is energy. if you work the equation a bit, and divide by the speed of light on both sides, then Energy divided by the speed of light is mass times the speed of light. One more time, you get power decelerating is the mass. Time is relative. You see.

Easy, the speed of time is a constant 0.

Time is not a tangible thing that moves - it's a plane which people move in; because of our bodies being set with perceptions that can only intake information in a straightforward pattern, we "see" time as a straightforward thing. We see it is so straight, in fact, that we can measure it by using "conventional time" or 1 second, 2 seconds, 1 minute, 1 day, 1 week, etc.

However, that is a limitation of our bodies; and not time itself. Think of time as a chessboard, and us being pawns - we can only move forward. But the chessboard is still there, as a plane, sitting under us.

"Space" is the area around the pawn, including the areas outside of the chessboard - where physicists assume there is even more chessboards, but then again, it could have a completely different set of laws and be a checkerboard, or a chinese chessboard, we don't know.

Time, or the concept of it, has no speed. We make it up with devices to sectionalize different actions as they occur in either progressing or not progressing. Actually, this is BS...lemme try this other answer...
The speed of time depends on the happenings and actions of the movements of the physical world. Sounds corny, but heck, it's whats came to my mind.

time is relatative(e=mc2). the speed of time changes depending on the speed of objects that it is being measured agains.

ok, the faster you travel the slower time goes. For example if you get on a plane and travel around the world and arrive back at the same place you will find that your watch will be behind the watches of those who remained stagnant waiting for you to return. This has nothing to do with time zones.

3X10 to the 8
If you had a space craft going at a speed of light then time should stop for you compared to a person living in earth. However, to achive this speed it need infinit amount of energy. This has not been achived yet but if any of you have achived this give me a call

When you look into the past time does not move.

When you stay in the present, time does not exist.

When you look to the future, time speeds up.

The answer therefore depends on which direction you are moving on the time dimension.

It is relative

You will always experience your own time of 1 second per second, but depending on relativistic effects (speeds close to that of light), you may see that the time other people measure is slower.
