Buy the current edition of the Writer's Market and select a literary agent most representative for your book.

Jeff Herman's book on Agents and Publishers is in some ways better than the Writer's Market as they have more details about many of the entries. Published annually.

You need to get the Novel & Short Story Writer's Market for 2006. It is available at your local library.
