What do you think of this response by Bush towards the incident in Britain airport today?

i found his wording interesting as well; no one will say that al qaeda was involved, for example. 21 Pakistani brits were arrested- I imagine bush has a psychic insight into their religious beliefs. I found his comment inflammatory and unnecessary for anything other than to further a political agenda.

I'm no Bush supporter but here I must agree with him.
It's not because he's a nitwit,he can't get one right now and then.
And of course he tries to use this to his advantage,I let him.You can not deny the fact that Islamic fascists have started a war against the Western world.Bush or no Bush

Uh, it's quite clear. Are you stupid?

Let me spell it out for you real slow like and with small words.

Islamic fascists planned to blow up a bunch of planes bound for America out of Great Britain. Got that much?

Many people like to stick their heads in the sand and try to ignore what we are fighting in the GWOT.

This busted plot serves as a "stark reminder" of the enemy we face. The enemy we are currently at war with. That would be... real slow now so you get it.... that would be ISLAMIC FASCISTS.

Mmmmm K?

Seems pretty f-ing straight forward.

What would you have him say? We are at war with Islamic fascists. And this is a reminder that they want to kill westerners. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

I took it as a stark reminder that I'm supposed to be scared.

Eh, oh well. I'm not letting al Qaeda or Bushco to scare me into submission.

Seems like he has to remind to many people because they have become complacent. He is right to remind us because there are those who want us to think that the attacks in 1994, 1997,1999, and 2001 were all the US's fault and not terrorists!
