Ok, if your pregnant, but you dont know it yet(like maybe if you just got pregnant within the last few days) and you're doing the ovulation test sticks, will it show that you are ovulating or not? I know this question sounds complicated, but maybe someone will understand what i'm talking about

OK.. the ovulation tests look for a hormone called LH *lutenizing hormone* we generally have this in our bodies during our whole cycle, the way that ovulation sticks work is that you are looking for the test line to be DARKER than the control line, this indicates an LH surge.if you get a positive, one of two things is going on..
1) your body is hormonally preparing to ovulate in the next 24-48 hrs
2) you are pregnant (this doesn't always work and you would have had to have implantation to occur (about 7 days after the egg is fertilized) the LH hormone is alot like the HCG (pregnancy hormone) and will show a positive in some women on an ovulation test.

anyway.. if you are already pregnant.. you don't ovulate!
