THE CORRECT ANSWER IS BRUNETTE IF YOU LOOK IN DICTIONARIES.
1,) Merriam Webster Online Dictionary
www.m-w.com
Main Entry: 1bru·net
Variant(s): or bru·nette /brü-'net/
Function: noun
: a person having brown or black hair and often a relatively dark complexion -- spelled brunet when used of a boy or man and usually brunette when used of a girl or woman
2.) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_hair
Black hair is in the brunette category, although black hair may not commonly be referred to as brunet(te). It is the opposite of blonde hair color, especially platinum blonde, as it has a large quantity of the dark pigment eumelanin. It is the most common natural hair color in people of non-Caucasian heritage, but occurs in people of all backgrounds. Although texture may differ, black hair is particularly common in people of Asian, Middle Eastern and African descent, and much less so in people from Nordic countries.

Wow some people are f*cking retarded, saying African Americans and Indians. Um.. people of every race can have black hair. Most black hair is actually really dark brown anyways. But regardless - people with black hair are still brunettes.

I think blondes ar those with red, light brown or yellow hair. Brunettes have dark brown and black hair color. At least that makes sense to me!

Black hair is included in brunette because it means "dark haired" and not just brown-haired.
