"Rock & Roll Music" by Chuck Berry, covered by the Beatles. If you compare the two, John Lennon's vocals kick some major booty!
Also Helter Skelter by the Beatles is bad ***! If it wasn't, then U2 wouldn't of covered it, and if the beatles never wrote it, U2 wouldn't of had a chance to write the cover yo!

I'd have to go with Led Zeppelin's cover of "When The Levee Breaks" off of Led Zeppelin IV, originally done by Memphis Minnie in 1929.

I think the cover version of "Helter Skelter" by U2 was excellent. I thought the original by the Beatles was horrible and this made it better.

lots of the covers are in simple terms terrible. yet on occasion a band could make an previous song thoroughly distinctive, provide some thing of their very very own to it. Then it rather is not a lot evaluating them to a minimum of one yet another, yet appreciating them in distinctive tiers. as an occasion i admire Metallica, yet i think of the Apocalyptica's cello variations are super besides.
