JOHN TERRY IS MUCH MORE RELIABLE. S G MISSED A PK AT THE MOST CRUCIAL MOMENT.. YOU WANT A CAPTAIN THAT WON'T MISS THOSE PK S .. TAKE ZIDANE HE JUST WON'T MISS-UNLESS HE DECIDES TO THROW A HEADBUTT--WHICH MAKES IT A CHOICE !!!!!!!!!!

They are both excellent Club Captains who would have been automatic choices as captain in almost any English team in which they were not both playing.
Perhaps Terry just has the edge: he has overcome huge competition to captain Chelsea, and leading the players in a London team is harder that in a provinical one.
Gary Neville would have made a good captain too.

John Terry, because Gerrard may score all the time but he's an unstable player. Terry is always on form. You can trust him on defense.

JT. He's the best defender in the world, and possibly the best leader on the pitch too. Nto one player is a better captain for his club than JT is for Chelsea. Great choice by Mclaren.
