Google goes hand in hand with internet searching. If you want to promote it that way and use adwords (you pay) you can have your business advertisement show alongside search results. However, the other way to do it is put your business on Yahoo in the appropriate category and would be better visibility than blindly searching for it.

From a marketing perspective, it is best to be included in all of them - but the most frequently used are Yahoo and google.

I most commonly use google, unless I'm on my home computer where I have a yahoo search bar built into my browser.
