Yes, yes, yes,. He genuinely cares for our home, Planet Earth, not just America.
He would have fought sacrificing our young men to the greed of global conglomerates.

We would be taking care of our deteriorating infra-structure and working to find new sources for energy.

We would not be trillions of dollars in debt to foreign investors, from whom we borrowed money to pay the conglomerates.

Last, but most important, we would still have the respect and honor that our that our country has lost during the Bush's presidency. Our children and their children will pay for all Bush has done.

Gore is a complete idiot with the charisma of a gnat. The beauty of morons such as yourself, is you don't realize that with Gore in office, we'd have probably had not just 9/11, but maybe a 12/09 and a 03/08 and on, and on.

9/11 was in the works for years and would have occured even if Glenda the Good Witch was President.

Here's the deal, regardless of who the President was in 2001, 9/11 was in the works for over a year before it took place.

Now, if Gore were President (can't say "elected", because we all know he was) then I believe that the chain of "mistakes" that led to the attacks occurring the way they did may have transpired differently.

First of all, Gore wouldn't have redirected our National Security policy to focus on North Korea more than the terrorists. BOOsh's inept Missile Defense System became top priority in 2001, causing terrorism to fall tremendously in that list.

The various memos from the FBI/CIA that warned of increased activity by al-Qaeda - especially the one on August 6th that read "Bin laden Determined to Strike In the U.S." - wouldn't have been disregarded.

Surely, we probably would've been more prepared to avoid the attacks, or at east part of them as security in the airports would've gotten a boost. Condi Rice was told the 9/11 Commission that the administration couldn't have possibly expected the predicted hijackings to have been used to attack the WTC and Pentagon (as well as Flight 93).

I say this, as National Security Advisor, I would've told the CIA and FBI to look into any and all possible scenarios when it comes to possible attacks by terrorists. The very fact that BOOsh and Company were so willing to disregard this threat as being "just another traditional hijacking or suicide bombing" is scary. Willfull Ignorance is definitely a plague to this counry.

Furthermore, even if Gore wasn't able to prevent the attacks completely; his reaction would've been better. Our invasion of Afghanistan and chase after Bin laden wouldn't have been so insignificant. Look how small the force was that deposed the Taliban!!

I can guarantee that the Iraq war would've never happened, because Gore had no personal ambition to take over Iraq. Iraq was not linked to 9/11, neither was it linked to al-Qaeda. In fact, al-Qaeda sought to remove Saddam from power, because of his Secular beliefs and torture of his own people.

Also, we wouldn't have a crisis in North Korea, because Gore wouldn't have been so ignorant as to purposely infuriate Kim Jong Il with an "axis of evil" speech. It was that Dictation to the Nation speech in 2002 that started this whole mess in the Korean Peninsula.

Surely, the North Koreans have a very bad track record, but the fact is that they had already been dealt with, and they were cooperating with the UN Inspections as well as their agreements. Unfortunately, a blood thirsty BOOsh doesn't think of long term damage when he makes statements that seem to come directly from PNAC itself.

Also, this Mideast Crisis would surely be handled differently, because Gore more than likely would've done the right thing and demanded that BOTH SIDES end the violence at once in a way that the PEOPLE of both sides could benefit.

Finally, let us not forget Katrina...that most definitely would've never been as big a tragedy as it turned out to be. There are so many more issues, but not enough room to talk about each of them.

Of course not...9/11 still would've happened. The difference is that nothing has happened to us since then...that's a credit to the Bush Administration like it or not!

I think Sept.11th would have still happened, but I believe the aftermath would have been handled better, and America wouldn't be hated by most of the world. I believe Gore would have made mistakes, just like any other president, but I believe he would have had America's best interest at heart, unlike Bush.

Well, 9/11 would have happened, and then Gore would have imposed economic sanctions on Afghanistan, and then lifted them six months later for "humanitarian reasons".

he'd then have signed the kyoto protocol, which gives control over our power grid to a foreign organization, which would promptly have turned most of it off.

47 percent of the US would be without power, right now and theirs NO way you'd be online.

Do YOU think you'd be better off?

I voted for Bush and be apologetic about it. a up to date ballot stated that maximum imagine he ought to have performed more effective constructive than Bush and regretted not vote casting for Gore. i'm a deficit hawk and voted for Bush figuring that perchance Congress ought to average his proposals AND if i did not get deficit administration, a minimum of the mistakes ought to earnings me. you may remember that Bush proposed huge tax cuts at the same time as Gore proposed huge spending will improve. i imagine all of us ought to have performed more effective constructive than Bush in virtually each and every regard.

I feel that we would be much better off with Gore as president. We probably also would have joined the Kyoto Protocol and not be so dependent of foreign oil.
