Ally and AJ is a very good CD, Jesse McCartney, The new Madonna CD is one of my 7yr olds favorites, the sound track to "High School Musical", Anything Hillary Duff is good (heck I even like some of her stuff). And all of it is appropriate for a child that is 8. oh yeah after reading other answers I forgot about the Cheetah Girls!

I would put what she likes on the CD. Avril lavigne, Madonna, and Hilary Duff. I would talk to your daughter and see what she says but don't tell her you are making a mix cd. Also try to listen for what songs she listens too.

uhh depends where you are....if there are disney stores go there and get her those disney mixes its pretty good for 8 yr olds...they should have hilary duff and raven and those people but not avril and them..

i would give you suggestions, but i'm pretty sure the bands i listen to swear ummmmmm.....a lot, so yeah.
