No, why? Not that I would kill one, or anything. there was one in broad daylight laying in front of my door mat when I cam back from running last week. It was weird...It was pretty and had blue markings. I guess it sensed I was there because it began to crawl over to a hole in the base of a pillar holding up the eaves over my door. Later that evening when I took out the trash, I saw a lot of them flying around, and they were screeching their little high-pitched noises and flying out of my condo building! Weird.

I would think that would have to do with what state you live in & how you kill the bat. Here in Colorado if you have a farm you can kill other critters if the harm your livestock. But why kill bats, they eat bugs that can harm us.

why would you want to kill a bat? they eat mosquito's and other nuisance bugs.
There is a bridge in downtown Austin that has thousands of bats living under it. It is amazing at dusk to see them all fly out to hunt.

Why would you want to kill them? They eat mosquito's! More bats the better, and they are really fun to sit and watch at night, they fly so quick!
