Knowing who we are and where we came from is the ultimate form of vanity no other species can claim.

Well, as the human thought process isn't mathmatical in nature, meaning it's inabsolute in it's answers, the natural function of the human mind is to think as rationally as possible from all angles with all expirience. If you are thinking, this is why. Speculation is not necissarily the road to any holy inevitable truth, it's an aimless animal deterministic method, that for humans, had developed to the point of sentience in sprouting the organ of the mind.
On a side note, if your confused about your god, your universe and your life, I think you need a hug!

In my mother tonguem Tamil there is a proverb that there is no smoke without fire. The very fact we speculate on these things show that they are real and that they are very much there.

Unfortunately, it's all about ulterior motives and controlling people...
If you can get someone to believe in YOUR version of God or the Universe, then you can get them to follow YOUR rules... which are often based on fear, ignorance or financial gain.

People want to know if there is something after we pass, or some sort of meaning to live. Some people r scared that there is nothing after we pass away.

I guess for me since i'm so young it's about proof-where is the proof that any of these theories are true?I guess i'm a dumb a-ss now since i want proof of everything-maybe when i'm older my outlook on life will change.
