If you are talking about a mucus plug, then you must be pregnant. Call your doctor because it may be that your water broke. It doesn't always pour out, it can trickle. Doctors don't want you to walk around with your membranes ruptured for too long because it increases the risk of infection.

i'm not sure how far along you are but let me tell you, i had so much mucus coming out it was creepy. I kept running to the dr's office trying to find out what it was. dr. said i was fine. it was normal.
here is my theory, not to be gross or anything, but during sex, do you naturally over lubricate? because keep in mind during pregnancy your "down there" is in a constant state of arousal. which brings on natural lubrication. and you are warmer down there. which could also bring on yeast infections. so, here is what helped for me. when you are at home, don't wear any underwear except for loose boxers. keep your "down there" breatheable. when getting out of the shower, use a blowdryer (on cool) to dry your "down there". and you may want to consider getting waxed. don't shave, that only makes you itchy and you might not be able to tell if it's a yeast infection or not.
and always talk to your dr, just in case.

Yes more than likely this is the plug and it is disolving, if your later in your pregnancy say about 6 months. And if it is your first child. In your first time your body prepars ahead of time and the baby may be turning. . It is nothing to be alarmed about . but please call your docter and just tell a nurse to note it so when delivery comes and your dry they can make it better. Plus they might want to check you for any signs of early child birth. but again dont worry .

how far along are you? amount of mucus increase as pregnancy progresses, not necessarily mean mucus plug.
now the leaking, can you tell if it's liquid, or just moisture from mucus? If it's liquid, go to your doctor, could be your water breaking.

Well first of all yes it could be your mucus plug. Second of all...are you full term? If you're not atleast 37 weeks than I suggest you call a doctor ASAP. GOOD LUCK

Log off of Yahoo and call your doctor. You sound like your in the beginning of the Labor process. Have you been having any persistent lower back pain?
It may be an infection but the persistent leakage sounds more like labor.
Congrats and Welcome to Motherhood!!!

My friend had the same problem when she was pregnant with her son and she just happened to come with me on a trip to my doctor...he said it was an infection that needed treatment with an antibiotic ointment so yes I would talk to your doctor as soon as possible because it may be nothing serious but when your pregnant you don't want to take a risk.
