He has to remind people from time to time that they need to be afraid or they will not obey and if that don`t work maybe another Peal Harbor event will work.

The level the extremists are willing to go has gotten higher because they have been succesful in some cases ie 9/11 The extremists have gotten braver and want to attack more. We are safer from the number of attacks going on right now. Before 9/11 there were not as many 'plots' because the extremists didnt believe they could do as much damage now they see what they themselves are capable of and want to continue to raise the bar

Which, of course would mean we are now safer than under clinton. Please think about your questions before embarrasing yourself.
Thanks to your buddies and the NYT we are LESS safe than we were they make great intelligence operatives for the terrorists.

You didn't comprehend what he said. He stated that we are safer than we were on 911 BUT that there are still terrorist that want to still attack us as evidenced by the arrests of terrorist in England. You do seem to have a hard time understanding reality. Lay off the liberal kool aid - it will kill you!

not all the way safe... there is always a risk...
but it could be worse we could be at level red and then it would be terribly worse...
but yes I watched it he said we aren't safe but not in those exact words.

I wouldn't be surprised! He also said that the US is safer since the 9/11...I'd have to disagree with that.
