Those that fuss about the gays wanting to marry and have equal rights. Yet you have no problem accepting special states rights for heteorsexual couples.

Those that fuss that they dont want to pay for social programs for the poor and sick. Yet you have no problem with tax-payer funded FAITH-BASED PROGRAMS.

Those that fuss that our country was founded on christian values so EVERYBODY should have to follow christianity. Yet, you hate middle east countries THAT FORCE ISLAM THE SAME WAY YOU WANT TO FORCE CHRISTIANITY.

Those who don't want to SUPPORT OUR COUNTRY because you fight against abortion which our courts HAVE MADE LEGAL! Yet you point the finger at democrats and call them anti-American because they want to protect civil liberties... LAWS THAT EXIST.

REPUBLICANS YOU NEED TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR AT YOUR HYPOCRISY.

IF YOU HATE AMERICA SO MUCH THAT YOU CAN'T ACCEPT IT, THEN WHY DONT YOU MOVE TO A DICTATORSHIP LIKE YOU WANT TO TURN US INTO?

I'm only quasi republican and agree with all of your points...and it's nice to see a patriotic democrat instead of just a raging hippie.

But it isn't fair to judge republicans the same way they judge you. Their morals are important to them, and they have a right to feel how they feel. We wouldn't be able to call ourselves patriots without questioning what we don't feel is right. It is our DUTY as an American citizen to fight for what we believe is right.

There comes a point when although you are right you are just as bad as they are. If you cant live with the things that other people do then why do you live in America? That's the thing, no matter how good of a point someone makes or how right they feel, there is going to be someone out there opposing what they are trying to do. Let me ask this, if your so pissed off about what republicans are doing why are you going on-line on some website for Q and A instead of talking to people who matter and might be able to get things better. Its people like you that really need to grow up. First thing is you are categorizing and that's really dumb. Not all reps feel the same way and not all of them are making as fuss. And by the way at least they are trying to make things better for the future instead of wasting minutes typing away and never doing anything. keep in mind that i am not a rep but a Dem so.Take a lesson to all those reps your are bashing, at least they are making a difference. WHAT ARE U DOING???

You have stated much more than a question.
Just hang around awhile and keep supporting the Neocons and the other fascists and you will see what it's like to live in a fascist dictatorship country.

Don't forget, Germany was a thriving democract before Hitler and the Nazi's took it over, aand in much the same way the Bush and his Neocon's are doing it here. Squelch free speech, control who can go to pro gov ralleys, create a reason to get into a war that we shouldn't be in, replace judges with those that support your cause. Bush is following all the same tactics as Hitler did.

But to answer the question... I don't hate America, I hate what's become of it's leadership. We have turned into cowards to be blindly led by the nose to give up civil rights on the threat of terrorists. True cowardice is giving up anything to an enemy, and we have done just that.

I don't know if I can honestly say I hate this country, but I believe that all opinions expressed by people who oppose certain things going on in this country shouldn't be looked on as if they actually hate, but in fact just have a dissagreement with what's going on.Hate. No. Opinionated yes. Do I choose to leave because of that? No. There is always room for change and improvement for everyone. Is this not the American way?

I dont think we should force christianity on anyone, but at the same time we are a pretty solid christian unit as a whole so why is it slowing being weeded out. No prayer in schools, no christmas trees?! If someone is offended by "our" christian traditions then THEY should leave, instead of making us change our ways.

I/we dont mind if they want to have their prayer, or their holidays out in the open, so why do others try and take away from the christian holidays/traditions.

Yup, thats all. We can't call a christmas tree a christmas tree because it might offend somebody.... its now a holiday tree... wtf? Yea sure christmas is a christan holiday and all, but santa? and elves? and christmas trees?? I dont get it!

Oh, and if you live in america, I think you SHOULD be able to speak english, and not make us change our ways and standards to suit your ways. I'd like to see germany hire special english speaking teachers just so that I could go to school there...

Then again, america is america because of how well we bend... so how much can any of us complain?

This is America, petition for change, but no group, nor any individual should have any special rights.

Those who want social programs should fund those programs, those who don't should not be forced to participate. Children should be safe, not aborted/murdered, not be prey to perverted molestors. No one is forced to follow Christian values, you can be an athiest, a Muslim, or whatever religion you want to associate yourself.

People who complain, remain because in their hearts, and their minds, they know that no other country offers them the freedoms and rights that America grants its citizens.

In the leftist countries, they might become political prisoners for their dissent or they might become dead; same scenario in Islamo-facist countries.

Democrats are pulling far LEFT, Republicans are pulling mild LEFT, neither appears to be pulling for America. Open and unsecure borders and illegal aliens running rampant, both fail to fight miltary engagements to win.

Neither party wants to adhere to the Constitution unless it supports their agenda, neither wants to enforce immigration laws... they want to circumvent the laws and grant AMNESTY to ILLEGAL ALIENS, who are by any angle you view them from, criminals by their own actions.

It isn't one party causing the problem, it is all of the politicians who operate as if no one is looking... well, now many people are looking and are shocked at what they see. The silent majority is awakening.

Yeah, our courts made murder legal... hip hip hooray........ it is still murder by any other name. The right to have a say over ones own body.... duh, what about all of the dead babies' rights. Consider that suicide is supposedly against the law(hard to enforce if subject is determined), euthanasia by request is against the law.... why should murder/abortion be legal, just because a few lefties on the Supreme Court say so? They changed a law that existed. They denied civil liberties to those babies that are aborted, denied them any chance at the pursuit of happiness, they just plain and simple, denied those babies life.

What did your parents do?

I am a republican but I do not agree with the Christian part of the party. I firmly beleive in seperation of Church and State. Unfortunelty a lot of republicans can't understand this. They actively vote for and against laws and practices because of thier religous fiary tale beleifs. I think people need to wake up and realize that religon is outdated and a stupid way of explaining the universe and our place in it.

The worst thing that can happen to republicans is they get all the things they say they want. There would be no charity for the poor, when there daughters get pregnant by the pervert uncle they would not be able to get abortions, there gay children would be punished for the way they were born, and eventually they would have to worship at the church the STATE chooses and the way the goverment tells them to.

The US is the best place to live, but that doesn't mean things can't be improved. Also, have you noticed people like to complain a lot??? There are too many agendas here to accommodate everyone. You're not going to get your way all the time. People have to learn to fight certain battles, not all battles. You have to admit the US Gov't has us fooled on a lot of things, though.

It's possible to hate what our leaders are doing without hating the country.

And if we do hate what our leaders are doing, we have the constitutional responsibility to do something about that.

While I personally agree with every position you've raised above, I still don't think those who disagree should leave. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I just hope that people eventually learn they can have an opinion without needing to force that opinion down everyone else's throat.
