0.833 what?

If you mean 0.833 days, then that's 5/6ths of one day accrued per month, or 5 days every six months.

Or assuming eight hour days, that is roughly 6 hours 40 minutes accrued per month.

7.064 HOURS

Assuming .833 is based on an 8 hour work day and a vacation day is charged as 8 hours.

about 10.5 days of vacation per year at that rate.

9.996 days per year. The reason it is done on a monthly basis is so that if a month has not yet ended, the vacation time has not yet accrued for purposes of post-termination compensation.

As always, seek advice from a local attorney.

8.33 hours is one day (8 hours) and .33 or 20 minutes or one day and 20 min per month, 4 days every 3 months. 16 days per year. Oops I need glasses you put a decimal before the 8, check I bet it goes between the 8 and the 33 to make 16 days per year
