You know, I'd rather be safe than sorry. This too shall pass.

You can't even take on a book to read! And I can't imagine a 6-7 hour flight without water (I hope they still have it on board).

It sounds rash, but at the same time can you imagine if someone had blown up a plane over the Atlantic today? I'd rather be bored and dehydrated than dead.

good question to bring up in curr. events, but there's no prep for the people who don't know. The reason they're currently not allowing liquids is b/c the terrorists had liquid explosives. They arrested 21 people. I also heard that in Britain where this happened, they do not allow ANY carry-on bags. I think that whatever security has to do is fine with me . . .

It's a sign of the times baby. I said it after 9/11, "It'll get worse before it gets better." I can see a day in the future when we look out the front windows of our homes and see the same thing we see in the streets of Iraq, Israel, and other war torn countries - WAR Git yer guns ready!!

Yeah and with the baby formula , the baby has to drink it in front of security before they let them on.
Its really hard w/ all the restrictions but , I can definatley see why.If they were not being so diligent ,there would be a huge disaster.

You are still allowed all the normal electronics. I'm rather annoyed that I can no longer bring on my essential toiletries in case my luggage is lost, but I completely understand the need to comply and will do so. I usually don't check any luggage - this will really impact business people who travel alot on short trips.

I'm glad that the Brittish were able to catch them before something terrible happened. I think it is an inconvenience not to be able to take drinks on the plane, but it's one I'd be willing to take for my safety and others.

I think, thank goodness they got wind of this before those people got on a plane, and thank goodness we have a security system in place that knows what to look for and how to handle situations like these. I'm hearing stories of people who are getting all irate because they're $3 bottles of shampoo are being confiscated. It makes me sick to think our American people aren't being cooperative.

I think it is the terrorist goal to take away or basic freedoms stuff that we usually never thought about..How free will America be if this keeps up.

There's a surprise. Why don't' we just drive to where we want to go, or take a boat. Flying is becoming more of an inconvenience than a convenience. Time to travel the old-fashioned way, walk, drive, asea.

Yeah, it is crazy. It is amazing how much our world has changed because of terrorism. I think eventually we will not be able to travel with luggage. We'll have to send it ahead to our destination. If it makes us safer, I have no problem not bring my cell phone, i pod, etc. when I travel.
