Why does Yahoo have so many Liberals?

Yahoo doesn't screen anyone to come on line! Maybe there are just a lot of liberals!
I think too most conservatives are busy working! ( kidding)

OK. I'll explain it to you but you have to follow the logic.

Yahoo is a very large web portal.

If Yahoo is widely used by a large majority of internet users then we can assume that Yahoo is widely used by people who are computer literate. As such, Yahoo probably represents an excellent sample of the number of computer literate people in the world.

Given that computer literacy is a strong indicator of intelligence as it requires a knowledge of computers, interactivity on the internet etc., it can be fairly welly assumed that a large proportion of Yahoo users are intelligent.

Given that the distribution of intelligence across Yahoo is fairly random and evenly spread out based upon the universal nature of the internet, if we surveyed this population in some systemic fashion we would most likely identify a connection between the level of intelligence and the political affilliations of Yahoo users to some degree of certainty.

Assuming that your postulation that Yahoo has so many liberals holds true, it would probably be accurate to say that it is because there are more intelligent people on Yahoo than in other locations or forums.

Given that we have witnessed that with increased populations of intelligent people, the higher incidence of liberal political views, it is fair to say that we can just assume that there are more liberals on Yahoo because liberals are more intelligent than non-liberals.

Actually it can be reported as mimicking, multiple posts and harassment. BTW, for all the people saying it's liberals that don't have jobs and all they do is sit at home and collect welfare, I know there are plenty of conservatives that are in the same situation and if someone is on wellfare, they probably don't have a computer and internet access at home.

There are a lot of Conservatives as well my friend. You only notice the Liberals more because they stand out when they don't agree with your point of view. Ask a question like, "Why are Conservatives so horrible to minorities," and you will get a lot of defensive answers from Conservatives as well as supportive ones from Liberals. I tend to find a balance here. The only reason you don't like it is because this is a media that allows free thinking and permits anyone (no matter how whacked-out their ideas are) to post an opinion. That is a direct contrast from the Conservative ideal. Anything that is slightly to the left of your thoughts or beliefs is considered, in your mind, to be "Liberal."

I have wondered the same thing, I have come to the conclusion that "Yahoo Answers" is the only soap box the weak minded can find where they will not be challenged directly and have to answer for for the bull that spews from their mouths.

Probably because they have more unemployed or welfare recepients thus have more time to spend on the internet. The others (republicans, independents, moderates) don't spend as much time logged in because they have full time jobs. Note: I did not say that all liberals are unemployed or on welfare just more of them are.
