fake bake is an excellent fake tan. It's the best one I've ever used and I've worked with lots of brands. It is coloured so you can see where you are putting it. It's so easy to use all you need to do is follow the instructions. Try exfoliating all over the body paying attention to dry areas, then moisturise any dry aeas. Once the moisturiser has sank in apply the tan using gloves on your hands. For tricky areas blend the tan with moisturiser, places like iside of arms, hands, ankles. Why not book yourself in to a salon to have the treatment and they can talk you through the application as they ae doing it. Visit fakebake.co.uk, they have a step by step guide on how to apply and you can but off the site too.

Exfoliate before you tan. The ones you get in a spray can rather than a lotion are 100 times better in my experience. I use Garnier Ambre Soliare and Ive never had a single streak while using it. It says theres no need to rub in but Im too paranoid to try it without spreading it around a bit too much sure Ive not left any un-sprayed patches. Give it a try its great!

Before you apply, shower and exfoliate with a gentle body wash such as Dove (this brand tends to have good moisterizers as well). Next, use a self-tanner. The one I've had the most non-obvious success with is Neutrogena's Instant Bronze Foam. It works best if you have a friend with you to get the spots you can't reach well and spread evenly. Another option if you have time is using a gradual self-tanning lotion each night before bed for about a week at least. It's less obvious! ;)

Use lotion first, then do the fake tan and rub all around your legs until it is all absorbed. Then wash your hands thoroughly. This should work. Be careful around the ankle and heel area. Just slightly rub a little of the tan solution on the top of your foot area, not too much.
