Yes, but I don't know if I'd say I SUFFER from it. I think selective hearing is what helps me get through the day. It's like a defense mechanism. I am a stay-at-home mom and I have learned how to ignore a lot of things that come out of my son's mouth. If I listened to it all, I might not be here anymore. I WOULD GO INSANE!

Nope but my husband has a classic case of it. Also he's got selective thinking and worse...selective memory! Thus makes a very hard person to live with!

very lots so. i'm generally accused of having a listening to situation. yet over the summer season I had a listening to attempt to the nurse mentioned my listening to replaced into proper. many times you gotta get my interest because of the fact i'm the two engrossed in in spite of i'm doing or i'm having a pipe dream and staring out into area.

Yes. Honestly, don't we all. I know that my husband filters everything I say and chooses what he responds to very carefully. I try not to do the same to him, but I catch myself doing it to my kids all the time.
