Are you being sarcastic?
People hate Leeds in terms of football.
Firstly, nobody from Lancashire likes Leeds for obvious reasons, and also because there are good Championship teams like Preston.
Secondly, people from other Yorkshire cities like Bradford and, particularly, Sheffield (notably Wednesday) would like to see their teams beat Leeds.
Thirdly, people have pointed out how successful Leeds were in the 1970s. Yes, but their players were filthy. Their disciplinary record was awful. They were a dreadful example to the game and thank goodness the leading teams don't play, and foul, like that these days.
Fouthly, Leeds nearly ruined themselves with their greed a few seasons ago trying to compete above their status in Europe. Now they are having to cut their cloth according to their means and a good job too.
Lastly, I cannot think of any reason, unless you live in Leeds and cannot afford to travel to a Premiership match, why you should particularly want to watch Leeds United. In business jargon, they have no USP (Unique Selling Point).
Many neutrals would rather support Manchester United than Leeds United, and that's saying something.
P. S. I wish Gary Speke were still playing today. It was a good laugh when he threw the ball into his own net.

Most people do not like Leeds United FC, unless, of course, you are in the Leeds area.
Personally I blame Chris Moyles who goes on about them on Radio 1, bringing that thought into peoples heads.
I used to support Aston Villa but now only find interest in watching England play. Notice I say interest and not pleasure. We havn't won much to make it pleasureable yet ;o)

Everybody? I think they are one of the most hated clubs in the EPL because their fans tend to be disrespectful and often racist (not all so stop the letters those of you tempted to vent). Plus despite having some terrific winning sides, they are thought to play a boring style (esp. the Revie teams in the '70s).

Because in the 70's they had a great team and all the older readers can understand why they were liked. Until sunderland beat them in 73 that is then they became famous

we don't,when we (QPR) played them on Tuesday we should have beaten them.
I know we had to come back twice to get a draw, but we should have won in the end.
so the answer is not everybody likes Leeds.
