How about, instead of answering the hate-filled, name-calling, no point having questions, we just show up, vote that it was a bad question, and move on? I love this new feature!

It's awesome, and then when you make a smart *** not going to answer my question remark, I vote you down, and you get very small, and your answer disappears! Awesome!

I don't really care for the thumbs up & down! I find it distracting and annoying! But then again I am one of those slow hayseed hick conservatives afraid of change, right!! LOL!

I wish everyone had access to the option (even new members). I joined without previewing it much thinking it would somewhat be a bit serios. People can be so immature. They are cynnical and sarcastic and you have to go through all this nonsense to get to an actual answer. I say content = 20-40 % and the rest is worthless (esp exact posts as those above you so people can get their levels).

Also, if you don't have the answer, then don't feel compelled to answer!

I say if you want to chat, go to a chatroom, if you want to interact, go to a forum, and if you want to browse go to blogs. People should really go out more and not ruin a potentially good service -- use it for what's it's meant for (more or less). Not jokes that are so not funny & at others' expense or insults.

I don't know why you have received opposition here, frankly I'm surprised.

I think the thumbs up or down is a waste of time, especially in the politics topic. There will be rates both ways, so it will tell nothing to someone who is about to read the question. And, there are no extra points for someone who gets a thumbs up on their question.

I think it detracts from answering the questions. Now people just click and move on.

Addition: See. I typed a response for you but someone else already just clicked and bailed.
