We have just purchased two PDA devices, an HP IPAQ and a PalmTX. This was to get a comparison and evaluation of both products prior to buying in more.
Initial impressions were the IPAQ was easier to configure, but in practice, the TX proved to be the best one for the job. Both devices worked flawlessly on the wireless network, and to be quite honest, we've seen no major problems using either device, in their general use.
Given the choice, I think we'd go for the PalmTX as the screen area seems bigger and it handles web pages slightly better. The cost of the TX is about £40 more then the IPAQ but that's not a deciding factor for us.
Hope that helps.

I dont have the TX, but a T5.
The main thing going for Palm is the available cheap software, and the bundled software that come with them.
I have been using Palms for 4 years now, and often compare to my mate who has a Pocket PC. Expensive software, but better graphics, but so slow. I would stick to the Palm.

you may't acquire PDF's from the web quickly onto the T/X. (see Calvins positioned up). As for pictures, i can in hardship-free words anticipate an same is authentic. To deliver pictures to the T/X with the aid of a Hotsynce the Palm pc application does some conversion.

I was actually pretty disappointed, sold it on e-bay and bought and XDA Exec instead - which I have found to be truly flawless

I have one. It's okay but it does sometimes crash. If I'd have done a bit more research I would have bought something else.
