Warped is aimed at school-age pop punkers and emo kids. The organizers know full well that tons of kids will be there with their parents. She'll be fine. Annoyed a little with the heat and crowds and cost of drinks, but one day won't drive her too crazy.

I'm a mom and I've been to the Warped Tour and Ozzfest. If you're concerned about what she's going to think, talk to her. Let her know what your concerns are. When I went with my son, he was concerned about me and the mosh pit since they tend to just erupt sometimes. Let her know what to expect and then go and enjoy yourself. My guess is that she's not completely unprepared for the event.

Just go and enjoy yourself and be glad you mom is willing to do something like that with you when it isnt something she even enjoys. And talk to her and try to make it as enjoyable as possible for her. I hope you both come home happy and with the thought that you two enjoyed each others company even if not both of you enjoyed the concert. Good luck.

you're going to warped tour!?!? AHHHH i'm jealous!!

well it depends.. how's your mom like? is she into the rock scene? coz most moms i know would be pretty shocked with the stuff happening in warped.. i guess make her listen to the songs you listen to and the bands that are gonna play so she won't freak when you guys get there.

HAVE FUN AT WARPED!

if she's willing to take you i'm sure what she finds there won't be a big surprise. she's there to be your guardian and have fun with her daughter. don't worry about her go have a good time and don't be uncomfortable. you're very lucky. if i had a daughter i would take her myself, but i've loved punk music since i was a teen in the 80s.
