Black smoke is an indication of un-burned fuel. Your car's engine is getting more than it can burn.
Is the "Check Engine" light on?
If it is, this is a very good place to start.
Find someone who will draw out the codes from the car's PCM, identify the circuit (NOT component) and address proper diagnostics.
Don't continue to try to drive it this way, as continued raw fuel in the Catalytic Converter will poison it, and they aren't cheap to replace.

from the black smoke, I'd say that your car is dumping raw fuel into the engine. This could be caused by one of two things.
1.) Computer has shorted out internally and is keeping the injectors open all the time and just dumping fuel into you engine.
2.) Catalictic converter is clogging up and the rear oxygen sensor is detecting a lean condition, so it's commanding alot of fuel into the engine.
I'd advise you have a professional look at it.

the foremost component could be a fluke or it relatively is an illustration that your ignition change isn't working precise. you could go with a sparkling change. Like absolutely everyone else mentioned, suited battery connections is incredibly substantial. in case you cant get it began lower back, turn on the headlights of the motor vehicle and then attempt to start the motor vehicle. word what the headlights do. in the event that they dim, then you definately've a foul battery or alternator that isn't totally charging the battery. in the event that they do no longer dim, then the battery is sweet and alternator is in all likelihood good too. If the motor vehicle cranks over and only wont start up then you definately starter is working. likelihood is which you have gas delivery concern. could be a plugged gas filter out, plugged injectors, undesirable gas rigidity regulator, or defective gas pump. in case you have a susceptible gas pump or a foul gas rigidity regulator, after attempting to start the motor vehicle the 1st few situations you will have been flooding the engine or only no longer getting sufficient gas to start it. After waiting approximately quarter-hour you need to attempt it lower back and it would start up if the engine grow to be no longer flooded. a speedy and elementary thank you to objective this if it does not start up, in case you scent gas, carry the gas pedal all a thank you to the floor. this might tell the pc that the engine is flooded after which you need to be waiting to start the motor vehicle. If this occurs, i might say it incredibly is the gas rigidity regulator. Getting the leap out of your mom might or won't have had anyting to do with the subject. you're becoming only gotten fortunate whilst she jumped your motor vehicle. good success to you. i might take the motor vehicle lower back to the storage you had it fastened at if it acts up lower back and tell them to restoration it for unfastened this time, given which you already paid to have it fastened as quickly as until eventually now. in case you do no longer think of they are clever sufficient to restoration it, take it to a different save. If the save to procure it as isn't a GM broker, it relatively is recommended to examine right into a dealership to restoration it. they often are not that incredibly greater high priced and characteristic different components to restoration that some shops have not got.

You are going to have to replace the catalytic converter and determine what made it fail in the first place for example a bad sensor, fuel pressure regulator, or a misfire causing raw fuel to pass through your cat which would cause it to overheat and melt the catalyst and blocking your exhaust.

thse vehicles have an onboard computer which controlls engine,,also,,oxygen sensors,,and Mass air flow sensor,,,i would have a garage put it on the scope to find the problem.
black smoke out of the tail pipe is caused by too much fuel to the engine.

I don't know what Robert is on however cars haven't had actual carburetors in a LONG time. It could be SOOO many different things. Could be super cheap, or more than your car is worth to fix. Take it to a trustworthy mechanic.
