Yes you can, judging by the political rhetoric throughout this site, it appears that most users of Answers fit that category. Liberal is not listed as profanity. Though you appear to have offended a lot of answers herein.

I'm a political conservative, but I don't approve of what Bubba did here. For those of you whom he appeared to offend, please realize that when you resort to insults right back at him, you are allowing him to push your buttons and you are playing into his hand.
We would all be served well by just ignoring stuff like this on Yahoo Answers, reporting the offender if appropriate, and moving on.

Liberals forget how this country was founded and on what principles.. "What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly ... it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated." -- Thomas Paine.

Bubba - Bubba - Bubba - Bubba - that's a fab redneck name!
You must love being poor and being screwed by your country, I hope you enjoy being poorer than you EVER were in the years that you had a more liberal government - and the social programs have all been decimated, oh, and your economy is one of the weakest around - it's bad when the CANADIAN dollar is almost equal with yours!

If those damned left wing liberals had been properly put down by the Crown over 200 years agoand not been allowed to self-emancipate, we would never of had this problem in the first place.
America would've been the most prosperous colony, by far, of any in the U.K.!

Sure. And there are many people out there proud to call themselves liberal, because they are upholding the principles set forth in the Constitution.
It's sad that so many people want to insult them for standing up for those constitutional values. After all, their primary goal is " to ensure the blessings of Liberty", which last I checked was something the constitution holds as fairly important.

Sure, ignorant questions such as yours are quite abundant. So keep on talking. Liberals like it when you make yourselves look like fools. It only proves our point.
